Jokowi Remains Stay at Home Office

Jakarta Governor, Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo, stated that he will not move from his home office on Jalan Taman Suropati No. 7, Menteng, Central Jakarta. It is because he has not received the non-active approval for presidential candidate purpose from the President and the Home Affairs Minister.

"I will not move, I have not received the letter yet," said Jokowi at City Hall, Friday (5/30).

Jokowi is ready to move if he has received the non-active leave letter as Jakarta Governor. This former of Solo Mayor is also reluctant to say where he is going to move.

Basuki : Jokowi Still Lawfully as City Governor

Jokowi and Basuki have met the Minister of Internal Affairs, Gamawan Fauzi, some time ago related to duties and obligations of the Acting Jakarta Governor. Jokowi will be off from his position on June 1 to October 20, 2014. During his leave, Jokowi will be replaced by his vice governor, Basuki. Jokowi also cannot use the state’s facilities such as the home office as well as the official car, yet he still received basic salary and allowances during his leave.
